– text installation, 2016

Passages look at the affective potential of the gaze and its physicality through the lens of erotica. Reflecting on the sensuous quality of art this work addresses viewer’s own bodily desire. By drawing from various instances of the literary genre, in which the gaze becomes the main medium of interaction between the characters, the installation heightens the ephemeral choreographies within the space of an exhibition.

Selected passages slowly scroll over the LED panels positioned at various spots in the gallery, capturing the gaze of the passer-by and giving away only as much as one is looking for. They link into a heterogenic narrative, while creating a net of gazes and glances throughout the space. B.jpg
